Shihō was a well-known painter who included flowers and (or) birds in many of his pictures. Some of these pictures were sold as woodblock prints and this gallery includes fourteen examples. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Shihō drew his flower and bird subjects in a true-to-life way which was common for Japanese painters who received their art training in the early 1900s.
